Role in the Purification Chain

The water level watchdog inside your purifier's storage tank. It prevents water from overflowing onto your kitchen counters by shutting off electrical power to the booster pump and solenoid valve as soon as the tank is full.

Physical & Mechanical Principle

A buoyant food-grade float ball containing an internal permanent magnet rises with the water level. At the top limit, the magnet trips a hermetically sealed reed micro-switch, breaking the control circuit and stopping the machine.

Access Float Bracket

Locate the float switch mounted on the upper lip of the internal water tank.

Disconnect Two Control Wires

Unplug the two spade terminals or wire nuts connecting the switch.

Snap In New Float

Fasten the new float switch into the bracket. Ensure the float ball moves up and down freely without catching on tank ribs.
